www.hrs.co.nz

The New Zealand owned and operated company based in Hamilton, Hoare Research Software (HRS), provides expert pre-sales advice, technical support and training throughout NZ. HRS supplies a range of international technical software solutions in various fields such as business, education, engineering, environmental work, science and statistics.

Background

Hoare Research Software recently developed STATISTICA, a comprehensive, integrated data analysis program which can perform a wide range of statistical related analysis. The HRS solution was quite revolutionary however most users recognized the HRS brand through its support services rather than statistical packages.

Challenge

HRS needed to promote its new service but found that users didn’t directly search for their keywords. They needed an online strategy which directed users to the relevant information on this new product, but their existing website was extremely cluttered and didn’t clearly define the offer. HRS needed to establish an awareness of STATISTICA and the benefits of the HRS solution for their clients.

Our Solution

Yodel™ created a promotional website for HRS which focused completely on informing users about STATISTICA in a market-savvy way while directing them to respond by enquiring online. This promotional Search Engine friendly site focused on leading users through the STATISTICA process, and how it can help their business.

Yodel™ also created awareness for STATISTICA by using several images ads on Google AdWords content network to display on major business journals, which had a high viewership by their target customers; which included business analyst, scientist, engineers and students.

Result

Across the first 4 weeks HRS recorded their first sale as a direct result of Google AdWords advertising and was extremely happy with what they had achieved. HRS monitored traffic coming into the promotional STATISTICA site and could track that every 12 clicks that came to their website, resulted in 4 phone call enquiries.
